We spent the morning at Forest Lawn, imagining that Great-Grandpa Halverson was there with us. Little objected to bringing flowers at first, having "better" ideas of what "Mama's Grandpa" might like.
the picture Little is holding - below - looks blank, but is actually a decent depiction of a green turtle.
our friend, Emily, from Seattle joined us.
Grandpa H. is at the top of my list of people-i-wish-i-had-met. i hope he enjoyed the donuts.
Back in the day...he and I would go to Priesthood meeting and then leave to go hope and bring everyone back for Sunday School. That was a great time to stop at Winchell's Donuts on Citrus Blvd. Thanks for reminding me about that! And thanks for visiting my dad.
I would rather have a donut too! lol! i love your blog! i've read it to the family when i go home....i still love the leading the music one and laugh and laugh when reading it! (it struck a chord...hahaha....with me)

Such a chuckle I'm getting from the donuts. I'm sure GGH enjoyed them tremendously! I know sometimes that would be my preference.
She looks like she's handing the donut right to me. Practically begging me to eat it!
You girls all look so cute!
