WANTED: Caption Writer.
have i ever bragged about the time i won the New Yorker cartoon caption contest? only i didn't get recognized *or paid* because someone else hit ENTER first, with the exact same words. do i classify this in my "intellectual triumphs" file, or my "yet to have an original thought" file? still debating.

How about 5 secrets to a better life:
1. Stop and smell the flowers. Duh.
2. Don't keep secrets; give them away.
3. Show your excitement in such a way that a camera sees it as blurry.

i would just like to graciously bow out of this competition. i have no creativity left in me at this point. i am just trying to make it through 8th b-day and baptism and ya know, BABY!! i think Jamie's thoughts are lovely. and so are the pics!
i really like your carpet. all spots on my carpet are driving me bonkers, currently. i need help, i know!

sometimes i forget about your blog for weeks and weeks at a time and then i go back and read and smack myself for not keeping up better. your blog is delightful.
