this just in

I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT.

there's nothing like teaching sunday school to make my ignorance even more obvious than usual. it's not like i wasn't aware of this before. but it seems harder to accept now that i'm thirty-two big ones. somehow i just thought i'd be...smarter by now.

glad that's over. i can go back to being a big phony in my own head instead of in front of groups of people.

anybody else feel a little silly today? or in general? no? just me? okay.

Don't be too hard on yourself, SC. I think that the number of people teaching Sunday School who do know whereof they speak is roughly equivalent to the number of Genuine Mormons estimated by Robert Kirby.

(Five.)

So you're in good company! I don't know what I'm talking about, either.

Gospel Doctrine is a tricky one. Even when I was teaching the youth I felt like a phony. Now I get to teach RS every 3 months. I'm one of the youngest in RS and I'm teaching?? Yeah, I have no idea either, but at least I'm in good company.

I think teaching can be hard. Even primary! I'm back teaching the Valiant 10's after 20+ years of not being anywhere near the primary. And those kids are smart!

But I'm sure you did a wonderful job. I would like to have been there.

thanks, all of you. i don't know why my speaker's remorse is getting worse instead of better. if it keeps up i'll be a mute by next christmas.

sunday school=scary unless you're RD, i think.

Neesh, I teach the V10's also and they kick my butt every week. Oh, you don't know what that term means? Yeah, me neither, moving on...

Krista, I was feeling especially silly on sunday. I had to speak in sacrament meeting for probably my first time since high school. NERVE WRACKING!! I hope I don't have to do it again for another 12 years!! I felt for sure like I didn't know what I was talking about. James seems much smarter than me. It's kind of embarrassing. I would have loved to have been there for your class too!
