hey, hey, it's her birfday!

HAPPY BIRFDAY to two fabulous women:

Kelly, if only you had a blog i could link to. Facebook is NO KIND OF EXCUSE. i'm sorry you remain in obscure anonymity on your special day. i love you furiously, even if you remember--and enjoy retelling--every embarrassing thing i ever did.

and natalie (shall we henceforth call you Grandma Sunshine?), thank you for having a blog. a second congratulations for being pretty much the best halloween package sender of ever. do please have a mahvelous day!

and thank you both for being born in my favorite month. and for being born in general. well done. don't picture it, but i have reason to believe the trip down the birth canal is not a gentle one, so you should be proud. you're picturing it now, aren't you? even after i told you not to. i really wish you wouldn't. wait, were either of you c-sections? if so, you can still be proud, but less so. go blow out some candles. xox

is this Kelly as in "Krista and Kelly, Senior Bullies", Kelly?

I too was born in your favorite month, though nearly missed the cut-off.

Sherry and Kelly - I still have your Senior Bullies card in my scrapbook. In case I ever need it.

Kelly - Happy belated birthday! I remember running into you and Sherry in a grocery store in NYC, of all places. Of course, Sherry knew we were there but we hadn't seen her yet. And NYC is a big place so I certainly never expected to round the soup aisle and see you two!!

Natalie - Happy belated birthday to you, too. I'll end my silence now and tell everyone of our chance meeting at Banana Republic in SLC. On your very wedding day, no less! That day was only the second time I've ever been in that particular store since it opened several years ago! Coincidence? I like to think not.

On the subject of your wedding, I'm so happy for you both! Congratulations and more!

SC and I were really the Senior Bullies. Well, mainly SC. She was super mean to everyone, especially the flip-flop girls! I can't believe there are still those cards floating out there. Embarrassing. Thanks for the birfday wishes. loves to all!

Happy Birthday Kell! Bullies? Yah right, though the story of Krista smashing a pbj in Jackie's face gives me pause to wonder about her :)

And Happy Birthday Natalie. We kept meaning to ask Tom when your big day was, as we were in on the surprise of last year :)

ps SC- where did you get that sweet pic of me? Not embarrassing at all. Serves me right for all of the mean and embarrassing things I've said about you!

Happy birthday, Natalie from Ceri's little sister (not that little anymore, however). I'm sure you know you married into one fantastic Halverson family. You're a lucky gal as I'm sure Tom is too. Not a gal...just lucky:)

Thank you al for the birthday wishes! They surely make getting older a bit more bearable. You are wonderful and oh, so thoughtful. I hope you all feel free and maybe even compelled (because my writing is sooooooooo inspiring) to comment on the musings on my blog. I do, indeed, feel very fortunate to be a part of this crazy fun and marvelous Halverson clan.
