i say toe-may-toe

they're growing!

today Little encountered her first rolie polie potato bug. she was delighted, but as the science experiment progressed i had to intervene to save its life.

below: for our anniversary, bim & i decided to get family bikes. Little likes to go fast. she yells, "yay, bikes!!!" as we coast downhill. when bim gets home from work, Little is waiting for him at the door to hand him his bike helmet, all the while bossing me to get mine, and putting on her own (backwards).

I love the bike carrier! What kind is it? I've been biking with the kids. S. can bike 3 miles with out stopping, unlike me who needs a little break ;) I've been pulling a trailer with A. in it when we have to go a distance. But A. loves to ride too. We bought a balance bike, which I would highly recommend over a tricycle or bike with training wheels. They get their balance so quicker and switch over to a real bike earlier and easier. Just saying. Happy riding!

we bought the front seat online from amazon (it's called an iBert Safe-T-Seat). i love it - having the weight in front instead of behind helps on turns, etc., and we can talk to each other while we're riding. the only downside is it only works up to 38 lbs. so we'll have to switch to a trailer or something else eventually.

That is the cutest thing ever! I have really been wanting a bike lately, and I love the front seat, it looks much safer and fun for Ally instead of having to just stare at your back! Elyza misses Als, she keeps saying "Ally to me?"

Whoa. The front bike carrier is awesome. How fun to do family rides and I love that you can talk to her while you're going.

Congrats on the tomatoes.

Happy anniversary!

Yay bikes AND tomatoes! You know, there is nothing better than a good bike ride with a fresh-from-the-garden -toe may toe sandwich at the end! We are eating them for breakfast, lunch and dinner here. Wish you were here (or more accurately, that we were there) to enjoy these two great elements of summer together.

Happy Anniversary! I was thinking of you! I love that front bike seat. Where did you get it? I bet Autumn would love that!
Are you starting to feel better? I hope so.
Your tomatoes are looking fabulous! I love tomatoes! We didn't do any this year though. Maybe next year!
