the girl kind!

we had the ultrasound today. i won't be posting the fetal photo, which was still a bit...fetal (but beautifully healthy). Little came along and enjoyed the following highlights:

:: gel smiley face on my tummy. she's been wanting me to repeat the show now that we're home

:: cool space glasses i got to wear so i could see what was happening. hubs got to watch on a big flat-screen tv

:: lying on the table when it was "ally's turn"

yay for sisters!!! for the purposes of this blog, Little's baby sis will henceforth be referred to as Wee.

calling all baby girl name suggestions.

YEAH!!! Sisters are so fun! My mom told me just a few hours ago! I'm so excited for all four of you! Poor Bim, James knows how it is!!
Fun that Ally got to take a turn getting an ultrasound. Sounds like a fun dr's office.

California must have super high tech facilities for ultra sounds!

Sisters are BEST! Yeah!

I told Elyza you were having a baby girl cousin and she says "I have it?" Too cute. Ally will be such a fun big sister!
I still like Eva Josephine that you were thinking of last time.

Congrats! Two little curly haired daughters? I can't get over the cuteness there.

Congrats, sis!

I have no suggestions as to actual names. I just pray you spell whichever name you choose correctly.

Actually, I do have one suggestion:

Liv (pronounced like the Danes do, with a long "e"), as in Liv Ullman.

good one, RD. i have really liked "liv" for a long time and it's actually on my short list. nice to have a vote!

All the good names I'm saving for myself:) Actually, I have 2 boys names and 1 girl name left. So I guess that's what I'm hoping to have. Not that I'm having anything, yet. But girls are fun and you already have all the stuff. But don't get your hopes up on 2 with curly hair. You've seen mine. Very curl and board straight. Congrats. If I have any other name suggestions I pass them along.

Yay! So fun! I'm happy for you guys :) I love when my patients come in and they have small children that want to help by pushing the on/off button on the Doppler or helping me measure their mom's belly. LOVE IT!

We send our excitement along with the rest! As cute as you two turn out little girls you ought to have a dozen, Now that we know the gender...let the shopping begin! . Grandpa thinks Thomasina is a fabulous name but you probably want to re-check the name of my girls before you suggest that I suggest anything. ;-).

Wahooo! Or should I say Wee-hooo! Congratulations muchos. You have a baby in your tummy and I have butterflies in mine just thinking about the new baby in yours.

"fwuhk" = the word verification I have to type below the comment section of your blog if I wanna publish this comment. Hmmmm. Well, okay. Here it goes. (Isn't that how Richard Dandelion used to pronounce "truck?" Or did he put an "r" in it?)

No duck on me.

Little girl? Hmmm...call me skeptical but, you know. :o)

I have always wanted a sister and I'm hoping for a girl the second time around. You're an inspiration to me for putting up with the morning sickness twice.

I still love the name Madeline without turning it into Maddy. Anyway, we're going to use it whether you steal it or not so go crazy.

I wish I had cool space glasses and I wish you would post a fetal picture, I'd like to see what a fetal Sherry Carpet looks like.

I'm making a list of girls that would be acceptable girlfriends for my little boy. You've been warned. :o)

Neesh, I wasn't saying truck, even then. Nowdays I just leave out the "w" for convenience.

I like Genevieve. But Spencer has firmly vetoed the name. Boo.

Congratulations! And this time around should be a bit cheaper since Wee can share the baby girl stuff you already have. And just so you know, I'll be singing the Sisters song for days.

Krista,

Don't know if you'll read this or not but I used to call your mom Wee Wee when I was little. That's how I pronounced her name. Nicea was Nee Nee and Coy was Dubai (pronounced duh bai). What the heck? I was a preschooler, give me a break.
